Short History of Nearly Everything 2-0 by Bill Bryson (2025) Chapter 9 The mighty atom starts with Dalton’s work. Then Cavendish, Rutherford, Thompson, Bohr,,etc The book doesn’t focus on chemicals, molecules or reactions. Bryson writes a lot about language and English and general history. From an earlier book I leaned why Isaac Newton treated Hooke so poorly.
