This happens (however rarely), even to established reputable bottlers.








There are 4 normal bottles and 6 abnormal bottles here. – – The Microbiology section reported “Branching hyphae seen”.
From my informal “Notes to self” – (I wasn’t a Microbiologist): “…Compared to what I usually see (in food or drink products with plenty of nutrients), there was less branched hyphae and fewer prominent round spores…
…Even though the caps were fully tightened and well-sealed when I examined them, it is conceivable that if the bottles or cases were on their side (or upside down), extraneous material could get inside the bottle, under some conditions. The outside of the containers and caps were not dusty or dirty or scratched-up when I examined them…”
(The bottles were in a humid tropical setting and had been transported a long distance)
